If required, you can define custom network interface settings. This can include assigning static IPs, individual DNS servers, and other settings which are covered by the following data structure:

https://wiki.debian.org/NetworkConfiguration

Copy your network interface settings into a text file, e.g.:

    auto eth0
    allow-hotplug eth0
    iface eth0 inet static
        address 192.168.178.199/24
        dns-nameservers 192.168.178.1
up route add -net 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 gw 192.168.178.1

Save the textfile as "interface.config" on your enrollment USB stick, and insert it into each Connector Box you want to configure with these settings.

Please be aware of the following limitations:

- Only one interface at a time can be configured with a static IP! If both interfaces (eth0 + wlan0) are configured as static, no connection to the server will be possible.

- After applying static IP configuration, a reboot of the Connector Box is always required.
