Before attempting to import an inventory, you will need to make sure your Excel is appropriately formatted. 

Each worksheet of the Excel file will correspond to a category in the Labfolder inventory. Therefore, you should set up a ‘destination category’ where all items will be inserted.

  1. Navigate to Manage > Labregister.

  2. Add a new category via the button in the left-hand panel.

  3. Name the category.

  4. Insert attributes according to the column header of the Excel file you’d like to import.

  5. Press save and continue by uploading your inventory.

Please note! 

When assigning the Labregsiter category attributes, text allows for all types of characters, whereas numbers only accept numeric values (no hyphens or units allowed) and date field will be described as DD.MM.YYYY.
