The Laboperator Connector Box is a small embedded computer that serves as a gateway for Devices to the Labopertor system. The software running on the Connector Box is being referred to as Connector.

Adding a new Connector 

Note: The Connector and your network need to be prepared to connect to your server (find more information here).

To add a new Connector to Laboperator, please follow the steps below:

1. Click on the + ADD button at the top of the navigation menu and select Connector.
2. Enter the 12 digit Connector key printed on the Connector Box and click on CONNECT. 
3. Once connected the Connector will be available within the Collection you uploaded it to as well as in My collection. 

You may edit or share the Connector like any other Resource. By double-clicking on the Connector the user interface represents the four USB ports of a Connector Box plus an additional virtual port (e.g. to connect with network-based Devices that do not require a physical connection via cable).
