How can the use of Data Elements improve templates?

Modified on Fri, 10 Jun 2022 at 05:39 PM

Using data elements (DE) allows you to specify items or data that are required or important in an experiment. If this feature is used inside a Template, you will have the following benefits:

  • Both Numerical and Descriptive DE allow you to specify items and features, while leaving some fields blank, to record data during the experiment. Physical quantity and Units in Numerical DE are required to be specified.
  • Data Groups allow you to organise your DE — numerical, descriptive and/or material elements — into various categories or groups.
  • Labregister allows you to connect your Template to your (Labregister) Category directly. This allows the Group to check the availability of necessary items conveniently while reading the protocol. This App is activated by default.
