Using data elements in a template allows you to specify items or data that are required or important in an experiment.
- Material Element allows you to connect your template to your Material Database (MDB) directly. This allows the group to conveniently check the availability of necessary items while reading the protocol. Only after activating the MDB app will the option be available.
- Data Groups allow you to organize your data elements -- numerical, descriptive and/or material elements -- into various categories or groups.
- Both Numerical and Descriptive Data Elements allow you to specify items and features, while leaving some fields blank, to record data during the experiment. Physical quantity and Units in Numerical DE are required to specify.
