Labfolder Go was built around the ability to document and recall information by voice in real-time and any environment. As such, every core feature has a corresponding voice command - to start, go ahead and say:
"Hey Labfolder"
Personalize your wake word
Before you head into the lab or workshop with Labfolder Go in tow, we recommend you to have a look at and try a few different wake words to find one which works best for you. Some also tend to harmonize better with certain accents and/or dialects.
Having an individual wake word is particularly important if your colleagues are using Labfolder Go in a shared working environment. To do so:
- Open the menu by tapping the three bars on the upper left-hand corner
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Wake Word
- Select a different wake word.
Use your wake word to talk to Labfolder Go
When using your wake word while Labfolder Go is open, a dialogue screen will pop up and you will hear an audio cue:
- After the signal tone, you may record a voice note or use a voice command
- At the end of a recording, Labfolder Go will play the initial audio cue again to confirm that the note has been logged
Make sure to activate your wake word with a long press on the microphone icon at the bottom of Labfolder Go’s home screen
Turn off the “automatically disable wake word” option
- By default, Labfolder Go will stay active and listen for your wake word for 30 minutes. Any recording or action will reset this time count.
- In the settings, you can opt to keep Labfolder Go active indefinitely by turning off Automatically disable wake word
- You can find the full list of available voice commands here.
